The Photographer

Jemi is an inception in the photography industry. She creates an experience for her clients that will capture this moment in time and preserve it for years to come. Jemi’s teaching and photography careers have given her over 20 years experience working with people from their nascent years well into adulthood. After obtaining her Biological Science Degree and Master’s Degree in Education, it was a normal transition for her to also aspire to become a successful businesswoman. She thrives on working with her clients on a personal level and sharing her talent as an exceptional natural light photographer. Jemi’s unique style in capturing her clients’ true personality in photographs is both inspirational and artistic.

Jemi’s style in photography is simple and classic. She prefers to work without a tripod, without flash, and without heavy equipment. This inspires natural posing and expressions from her clients that produce beautiful results. Her relaxed nature and attention to detail allows her to develop a rapport with her clients in order to make them feel at ease and comfortable during her sessions.

Jemi lives in Monrovia with her husband, two sons, a daughter and a small menagerie.

The Philosophy

I believe in creating quality products for my clients which will be available for your family and grandchildren to cherish for years to come.

The Process

The Baham Photography experience and pricing is determined based on client need and the photographer’s vision. What do you want captured? A graduating senior? New family photos? Headshots for your aspiring actor or actress? A new childhood milestone? A milestone birthday for a mom of 4? Whatever it is, let’s create a product that will be treasured by you and your children.

Services offered include: initial consultation, hair and makeup, multiple location and wardrobe changes, retouching, and an in-person ordering session.

I pride myself in presenting my clients with the highest quality printing and products available in the market today. Although I am in the business of selling art pieces, I do understand the importance of digital negatives for archival purposes. My goal is to coalesce the idea of a tangible product with the convenience of our digital world.

During our in-person ordering session, I will bring samples of products that I can customize for you. These include albums, hand-made Italian leather reveal boxes, wood boxes, slide boxes, wood prints, canvas, and linen-textured enlargements. Many collections include digital negatives.

For senior portraits and family portraits, all images are printed as 5x7’s for your review prior to ordering. I believe that photographs speak to you when you can actually hold them in your hands!
